About the presenter
Carolina Miranda is the Founder of Cultivating Capital, a Certified B Corp since 2012 that works with small businesses to improve their sustainability and social impact practices. She specializes in helping small businesses align their business with their values by implementing best practices for social and environmental responsibility using the B Impact Assessment. She is active in the global B Corp movement to use business as a force for good.
Carolina holds an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise that combines fundamental business skills with a deep understanding of sustainable business practices. After completing her MBA, she served as Associate Director of the Institute for Environmental Entrepreneurship, working on triple-bottom line research and development. Prior to starting her own business, she had hands-on experience in developing a sustainability program and working on sustainability certifications as a Sustainability and Marketing Manager, certifying her first B Corp in 2009.
