Building in Impact from the Start

10/05/2021 @ 10:00 - 11:30

Research Impact is the contribution research makes to generate change in the world.

In this workshop we’ll discuss how you can increase the likelihood of Impact resulting from your research by building an impact plan into your research project plan from the outset. Participants will backwards map their impact, starting with impact goals, and then generate a high-level strategy outlining the stakeholders, activities, outputs and outcomes they’d like to arise out of their research findings. This workshop is well suited to those in their early stages of research project planning but may also be useful for those mid-way through a project to ensure that impact is on track.
