The event consists of the startups battle (30 mins), investors panel (40 mins) followed by individual startups pitching sessions and Q&A (40 mins).
Over 30+ investors will hear from up to 15 carefully selected startups and vote for the best projects. The most interesting startup ideas will move to the next stage where will get a chance to pitch and get feedback from the leading investors.
Over 50% of startups begin negotiations with investors as a result of our events. To date the total investment value is in excess of $20m.

David’s experience covers entrepreneurship, private equity, and venture capital. David is currently a VC deploying capital out of a $50m fund as part of the DIP Capital team and focuses on investing in tech-driven business models at the growth stage, with the potential to disrupt the old way of doing business within their given sector.
Clara Ricard, Analyst at Balderton Capita
Clara joined Balderton’s investment team in 2020. She spent the previous two years working as a consultant for Finalta, the McKinsey & Company benchmarking solution for banks and insurance companies. During her time there, she helped running the McKinsey Venture Academy, a social venture competition. Prior to consulting, Clara worked in sales and product development at IHS Markit, focusing on growing regulatory compliance solutions in financial services. Clara holds a BSc in Management Science from University College London, where she minored in Machine Learning and Robotics.

Founder of H20 Capital Innovation, a cross-border VC fund with operations in the US and LATAM, investing in Enterprise SaaS and Marketplace startups founded by disruptive entrepreneurs.
Bob Gillespie, Executive Director at Second Century Ventures
Executive Director of the REACH Commercial Accelerator. Bob Gillespie is a serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in technology, leadership, operations and finance. He believes that the ability to build great teams is the most important factor for success. Companies Bob has founded have gone on to raise over $70M in venture funding with an enterprise value of over $200M. In an advisory role, he has worked extensively with over 100 companies, with his mentorship and network connections leading to new customers, partnerships and venture funding for the participating companies. Companies he has worked with as an Executive Consultant have gone on raise over $150M.
Franscisco Forbes, Global Director at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies
Franscisco Forbes is an entrepreneur, professor, and investor. He was Founder and CEO at Seed Digital; in-store analytics leader in Brazil. He was also a co-founder at Infracommerce, one of the most relevant e-commerce fulfillment companies in Latin America. Nowadays acts as board member, angel investor, professor and Global Director at Hyperloop Transportations Technologies.
Kristen Palma, Venture Partner, VU Venture Partners//Stimulo
Kristen Palma is a NYC based VC and startup consultant who is focused on sustainable businesses (not just clean-tech or green-tech, but businesses that can sustainably make an impact across various verticals. She co-founded Gratis, a non-profit dedicated to supporting sustainable business, and is the founder of Stimulo, a holding company dedicated to accelerating the market for sustainability
Thomas Bigagli, Ventures at Plug and Play
Thomas is working at Plug and Play >Tech Center, where he is leading the EMEA Smart Cities Ventures activities, from investments, startups acceleration to corporate innovation. He holds a Masters in Management from ESADE Business School and has won various competitions related to innovation such as the Harvard Pitch Contest. Fond of entrepreneurship and innovation, Thomas has created his first startup when he was 19 years old and kept on supporting existing startups during his spare time as a consultant.

1. Purchase a pitching ticket via Eventbrite for USD 290.
2. Prepare and send a 2 min video pitch about your startup and the idea.
Note. Priority is given to startups with previous exit experience, seed money raised. We reserve the right to return your money/application, if we see that your startup is not at the suitable stage or not focused on the topic of the event (see more below).
3. Attend the event on the selected date and wait for the voting results.
4. If you are selected, congratulations, you may now pitch and communicate with the interested investor in a separate Zoom room.
5. If you are not selected, you will get USD 200 refund (excluding Eventbrite booking fee).
Please apply as soon as possible, as only 15 startups are allowed in the competition and only up to 6 startups will be invited for personal pitching.
