Impact Investing: The Rise of Social Consciousness

Join Net Impact Boston to learn about impact investing – an investing strategy with the intention of generating positive social and environmental impact. Not only will we dive into what impact investing is, but we’ll explore why people are doing it — how does the rise of social consciousness impact our economic system? How do values affect the decisions that you make? What can individuals do to make a difference with their investments?

We are joined by Darby Hobbs, a social innovator, educator and author who is building the bridge between individuals’ values and their investments: connecting the heart, to the mind, to the wallet; and Robert Dellner, an author, professor and former investment banker exploring how to combine finance and economics with depth psychology and social consciousness. Both Darby and Robert are contributors of the book Aligning Hearts, Minds and Wallets: A Collective Experience (Reshaping Capitalism for the Greater Global Good). The discussion will be moderated by Stefan Pagacik, Co-Founder & CEO of Ai4Impact, a platform dedicated to creating sustainable models for business and impact investing.
